Would have been better if he'd been shot dead like the scum were in the London Bridge incident.

The septics just dropped the one bomb on Hiroshima.
It's not just the number of "nutters" wandering freely through UK society - it's the impact their "nuttiness" has.
May's barking up the wrong tree with regard to the internet - it's basic design is to keep working no matter what, so information/propaganda will still get through.
The answer has been pointed out many times, even on here - it's religion. Religion and education.
The UK needs a solid catch-all education policy to counter any religious ideas families put in their children's' heads - the kids should feel empowered enough to question their elders without it being portrayed as disrespectful.
The problem with education is that it's a pan-generational thing and as such those "in charge" of education have no real interest in instigating a policy that will only bear fruit long after they've left office.
They perceive the risk to UK society (from terrorism, and now, it seems, basic housing health & safety) as a price worth (others) bearing for the furtherance of their careers.
Then, of course, we can throw into the mix a group of people who (already) have a privileged position in society and they won't let ANYONE threaten their 4000-year old customs & traditions. ANYONE.

Not one to bump a thread but its sort of linked...
Why is it I just saw a bunch of Muslims waving a yellow flag with an AK 47 on it in the streets of London?
What is wrong with this country?

It's not, Coffee. Are you telling me when the last 2 attacks happened, there wasn't a load more people who knew it was going to happen?
There are fucking loads of them ready to do similar, and action needs to be taken now. Now more worrying about rights of people with links to this, an urgent hardline approach to this is a must.

8 year old girls blown up at pop concerts, women walking along the street having their throats cut, but with this sort of thing, we're told to just accept it as part of life, and carry on regardless, as it's only the odd nutter.

Plenty of Christian schools in the states are the same.
I have met many Americans who were shocked and disgusted to see Darwin on a ten pound note.
All religions encourage brainwashing of children by parents.
Of course extremist Christians tend to just knock on your door with a copy of the Watchtower which is not as bad as what your brainwashed Muslamic nut gets up.to.

Correct that the ideology is being pumped out elsewhere, but important to add that it fits (and perhaps targets?) the gap left by perceptions of being disenfranchised by society -- not just among younger people in the UK, but just about anywhere. It offers certainty where there were only questions; substance where there was only a vacuum; and purpose where there was none. That's what makes it dangerous and that's what defines the challenge for our societies -- to fill those gaps.

Blame the parents?
They have Muslim schools that REFUSE to teach Darwins theory!!!!
It's gone way beyond parenting.

I'd say anyone who believes in the sky fairies in the 21st century has got some big mental health issues, most likely down to poor parenting. Fancy brainwashing your kids into a cult? Boil them down and that's all that religions are.
I thought we'd worked out that the earth is round and not at the center of the universe. Some people, no most people on the planet, still believe in this god shit though...
Nothing dumber than homo sapiens. NOTHING.
Fuckwits.
